Delivered across seven phases, the scheme involved three separate two-storey extensions, enhancing the overall guest experience and supporting the long-term use of the facility.

The project presented a number of design challenges, particularly due to the close proximity of the new structures to the existing building. A carefully considered structural approach was required, with a predominantly steel frame solution adopted to manage stability and performance.

Foundation design and integration with the existing structure were also key considerations, supported by detailed investigation works to ensure a safe and effective final outcome.
