Having studied during the pandemic, onsite investigations were not possible, therefore they spent the day with Toni Clark, one of our Senior Geotechnical Engineers in Preston, East Riding, taking a tutorial in windowless sampling.
They were assessing the bearing capacity of the superficial deposits and establishing groundwater depths to see if strip foundations would be suitable for a new housing development for Beal Homes.
