Office Building and Warehouse

The gross internal area is approximately 4,240m², comprising 3,700m² of office, operations and meeting space over 2 floors and 540m² of warehouse.

Engineering and Design Factors

Alan Wood & Partners worked alongside the steelwork contractor and Principal Contractor to design the ground bearing pad foundations and ground floor slab. The foul and surface water drainage works were also undertaken to service the building and car park/yard areas. The client requirements were closely assessed which led to the allowance of spare drainage capacity for future expansion.

Description of the Works

Alan Wood & Partners took the scheme from initial cost estimate ‘feasibility’ stage through to full detailed tendering and managing the project on site through to successful completion of the scheme. This also included the provision of early access for the client’s fit out contractor to enable to the offices and building to be operational in line with the client’s timescales.
