The office fit out works involved the reconfiguration of the office layout with new partitions, internal glazing and doors and redecoration works throughout, as well as the installation of new furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Existing electrical installations were also upgraded to include small power, data and lighting, all to suit the new office layout.
Alan Wood & Partners were brought on board to project manage the scheme and administer the contract following initial feasibility discussions between the client and design & build fit out contractor, Chameleon Business Interiors. Supply delays and changes due to COVID and BREXIT challenges had to be closely managed during the project. At the same time, local air conditioning contractor ‘AIRCO’ were employed to upgrade the heating and cooling system to the new office spaces.
Strong lines of communication were maintained throughout in order to deliver a fantastic final result, as this work was carried out alongside the main fit out works. Coordination of access to the building and Health & Safety matters were also addressed, to ensure the rest of the building (which was occupied by other tenants) were not adversely affected.
